Book Hoard operates exclusively on your device and does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on external servers or third-party services. All user data, including book titles, authors, genres, and read status, is stored locally on your device using local storage mechanisms.
The App requests access to your device's camera and photo library solely for the purpose of scanning book covers and extracting text using optical character recognition (OCR). Images captured are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to external servers, stored remotely, or used for any other purpose.

Book Hoard does not transmit, upload, or share any of your personal data, book information, or device identifiers to any external servers, cloud services, analytics platforms, or third-party organizations. No telemetry, usage statistics, or user activity data is collected.
The App does not integrate with or use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. Your usage of the App is entirely private.
You retain complete control over your data. Deleting books or data from the App immediately removes them from your device. You may delete all App data by uninstalling the App from your device.
While all data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We recommend using your device's built-in security features (device passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) to protect your data.
Book Hoard does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. The App is safe for users of all ages.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Your continued use of the App following the posting of a revised Privacy Policy means that you accept and agree to the changes.
